What is the Digital Skills Scholarship for University Students Program all About?
I am Tobi Asehinde, a passionate serial entrepreneur, championing the operation and global expansion model that is building a Global Educational Technology Business with over 115,384 learners in over 37 countries and 4 continents.
I started this journey with a website called vibewebsolutions.com during my master’s final year at the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom in my bedroom with just a laptop, a sofa, bed and internet connection.
Before I started, I teamed up with my flatmate to start an online hotel booking business and I lost my savings to a digital marketing firm that drove little or no results for the online business.
I became broke and frustrated that I took matters into my own hands and decided to learn digital marketing. It was then that I realized digital marketing could help all types of businesses grow quickly if only the right digital marketing strategy is implemented with the right skills and tools. Over the years, with a relentless ambition and focus on the ultimate goal to make people succeed online using digital marketing channels and strategies, I have achieved remarkable milestones in my entrepreneurial journey.

No. The program is focused on undergraduates. Applicants must provide proof of current enrollment in a university program. This can be done either by presenting a copy of their admission letter or showing a valid student ID.
The program is slated to run for one month
You must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate studies, pursuing a degree in a relevant field.
The program is not level specific. Applicants of all undergraduate levels are eligible to apply.
The program is not focused on any department or course. Eligible students can apply irrespective of their course of study.
The cost of learning a digital skill could cost you as an undergraduate student a fortune, and that is a barrier that has been taken off your path, The acceptance fee covers your enrollment and administrative cost. It also serves as your commitment fee.
The program shall be deployed fully online and so there won’t be need for physical attendance. This also takes away the barrier that may be posed by geographical location, enabling access to learning from any part of the country.
Yes, the program is 100% flexible and self paced. However, beneficiaries are required to attend live classes, career sessions that have been provided to ensure beneficiaries get value and receive adequate support and mentoring. Assignments have to be submitted every friday before 10pm.
